The primary reason for Utah being last in terms of per pupil spending is the high ratio of children to adults. Utah is among the top states in terms of percentage of the state budget allocated to public education, but by the time that amount is allocated to students, the per pupil amount is not very high.

THE LOTS Purple (V): Free Lot The free lot is the farthest parking lot away from all of the school buildings. Though free, you still need a permit to park here. Shuttle busses that take you to different stops around the school leave the bus stop in the South end of the lot at random intervals Monday – Thursday 7am to 10pm, and from 7am to 4pm on Fridays but are not always reliable.

Jazz roster looking familiar This off-season has been one of the most decisive in team history for the Utah Jazz. Three of the Jazz’s main contributors faced opt-out clauses in their contracts this summer. Two-time All Star power forward Carlos Boozer, former All Star Mehmet Okur and deep threat Kyle Korver, each had the option to forgo the final year of their respective contracts.
