Track and Field facility being constructed

Construction has begun on the west side of campus for the new Hal Wing Track and Field Facility located north of the soccer fields. The $1.2 million project will be completed by fall 2009. It will have a 1,500 seating capacity for spectators to watch UVU’s track and field team compete.

When does the separation of church and state cease to exist and nepotism and cronyism begin to flourish which might render the Utah Valley experience for non-Mormon students displeasing to the point of feeling unwelcome? Cutler Demands Trade Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler of the Denver Broncos has asked to be traded. Cutler was upset because the Broncos were willing to trade him in order to acquire Matt Cassel, and when that trade fell through there was still bad blood. Cutler refused to show up for the first team meeting of the year and hopes to never have to show up again.

Toolson to play in Portsmouth Invitational Utah Valley senior guard Ryan Toolson has been invited to play in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament Apr. 8-11 in Portsmouth, Va. Each season the top seniors from around the country are invited to play in the tournament to showcase their skills to scouts from both the National Basketball Association and teams and leagues from around the world.

As I read through the article, I had a bad taste in my mouth for Poole’s sense of humor and negativity for Utah and the people who live here.

Originally from Payson, Utah senior guard Sandy Wall played her final game in a Wolverines uniform March 7. In her final game she led all scorers with 24 over Chicago State leading Utah Valley to an Independent Championship. Wall holds school record holder in career steals with 145, she is second all-time in career scoring average at Utah Valley with 13.
