One of my most grand new year’s resolutions for 2008 is to become a more conscientious consumer. It has been something that I have struggled with for many years, along with vegetarianism and having to brush my teeth a FULL two times a day (I think that is kind of asking a lot).

Things seemed to be going their way after the first road trip to start the season. Granted, the men’s basketball team was 1-2, but the two losses came in overtime at Boise State and at Marquette.
Just as the Utah Valley women’s team has been flawless at home this season, the road has been another story for the team.
Utah Valley’s rugby club has slowly carved themselves a niche as a respectable program in this state of rugby powerhouses.
Without question the women’s basketball team is having its best season since playing at the Division I level. But there is still something missing and the team might have to wait until next year to get it.
