A bomb of the scoreboard in left center by Orem?s Justin Bass in the fifth, along with Casey Hearther’s two extra base hits led the Owlz to the 6-5 win in the final game of the three-game series.

As the clock neared quadruple zero, coach Dick Hunsaker cleared the bench allowing Toolson to revel in his final moments as a college superstar with the crowd giving him a standing ovation as he made his way to the bench.

The game, which was supposed to be held in Salt Lake, was moved to Utah Valley.
