While I always considered them fun movies, I never thought anything more of them – that was, until the franchise was rebooted in 2006 with Casino Royale. Travis Barker, the former drummer for Blink-182, is recovering nicely after sustaining third degree burns to his body when his private jet crashed immediately after take-off on Sept. 18. The survival/horror genre of gaming has certainly seen better days. Of course, for the sake of clarity, when I say “better” I mean “more nightmarishly horrific.” The golden days revolve around the first few Resident Evil’s, Silent Hill’s and Fatal Flames before the respective series petered off into light gun centric shooters and lackluster, dumbed down sequels that cater to the crowd a little too thick to enjoy 7even or Silence of the Lambs, you know, those people that keep buying tickets to the latest version of Saw.

King of the Hill canceled

Fox Television has announced that King of the Hill, now in its thirteenth season, will air its final episodes next year. The network says that the two-time Emmy award-winning program’s demise has been a long time coming. “It’s probably time (for Fox to make a decision),” Gary Newman, co-chairman of 20th Century Fox TV, said in an interview with TVWEEK earlier this month.

On the other end of the spectrum, you’ll find Role Models. While the trailers and TV spots for Role Models make it look like it’s just as much Seann William Scott’s movie as it is Paul Rudd’s, it’s really not.
