This month, UVSC’s intramural department has created a challenging scavenger hunt for athletic students, with a grand prize of two hundred dollars.

With the holiday season approaching, one of the lesser known, but still anticipated games is going to be competing for our seasonal cash. That game being Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Nintendo Wii. But before one were to indulge in this game,  one would need to make themselves acquainted with a Resident Evil title already available on the Wii: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition.

A dreaded strike of the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) over digital media profits and DVD sales has been a whispered rumor for several months. Last week it became official, with pickets and protests, and only hours after it began, the effects were already drastically noticeable.

The  whitewater experience of most students at UVSC is limited to a single magical ride on Splash Mountain at Disneyland. Few students know that the physical education and recreation department offer a whitewater kayaking class that is open to all students, regardless of their major.

After Microsoft Zune super fan Steven Smith, better known as the Zune Guy to the online communities, received his third Zune-themed tattoo, the question that begged answering was What’s next?The answer came when Smith posted in the zunescene.mobi forums that he is now in the process of changing his name to "Microsoft Zune.

In one of my classes this year, I learned that, as a society, when we’re going by dates, we no longer use B.C. and A.D. to distinguish one from the other. B.C.E. and A.C. the new "politically correct" terms, meaning Before Common Era and After Common (I guess the "Era" is implied).
