Pretty in Pink is a 1986 John Hughes classic teen-angst high school drama starring ‘The Brat Pack.’ Molly Ringwald plays Andie, a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, literally. She lives by the railroad station with her emotionally unavailable, unemployed father.
After a widespread “community engagement” campaign, a visit from Michael Moore, and concerts from bands as popular as Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, and Mika, UVU finally found itself on the map on Feb. 27. In an historical reunion, MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice took the stage at the McKay Events Center, performing together for the first time in 18 years.
