It’s tough to get recognition when you play on a team with one of the best players in the nation, but for Utah Valley junior Sandy Marvin it’s never been an issue.

For two years the hockey team struggled to make a mark. That struggle seems to be over.

The lady Wolverines had an unusual amount of time to kill last week. Without a game scheduled until Jan. 24, Utah Valley has had plenty of time for some rest and relaxation. Coach Cathy Nixon gave her team a few days off, and has seen the benefits of a rejuvenated team in practice.
