But, couldn’t bring the team score together for the win on day two, Feb. 28. Overall, the UVU men took second and the women took fourth at Jackson Track in Boise, Idaho.

On the heels of back-to-back home wins, the Utah Valley Wolverines headed west for their final road game of the season. The Wolverines faced the California Baptist Lancers on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at the CBU Events Center in Riverside, California. Prior to the game, the Lancers had an overall record of 19-8 and sat in second place in the WAC standings.

The two-day, 54-hole event was hosted by fellow WAC competitor California Baptist at Goose Creek Golf Club. The course is a challenging par-70 with a 6,839-yard first and second round and a 6,728-yard final round. The tournament featured three awards: an individual medal, a team trophy and an All-Five Team Champion — awarded to the team who has the lowest combined score of all five golfers.
