If you’ve lived in Provo your whole life or just moved here, there are two important things to know about. The first is that UVU has an alive and thriving Arts program. The students in the program continually produce phenomenal work. The second thing is that in downtown Provo there is a c
local artists showcase their work at the F-Stop Cafe in Provo.
harming art cafe with all the upscale swagger and class of L.A. or New York. F-Stop Cafe is located in downtown Provo at 250 North University Avenue. It is one of the remaining shops of Provo’s Gallery Stroll. The stroll happens the first Friday of every month, showing local artists for that entire calendar month. It’s always a good time. January 8 was the opening of a group show of students from UVU’s Photography program.
The show will only be up the month of January before it travels to a gallery in Price. We reccommend that if you missed the opening reception, you take advantage of its beauty. Grab a friend, sip on some coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and enjoy the eclectic mix of art around you. F- Stop’s current hours are Thursday 5-10 p.m., Friday 5-12 p.m., Saturday 5-12 p.m.
