A Teaspoon of Immigration reform Obama style

This was one of my favorite stories of the year because of the work it took to get it written. Our former Managing Editor, now Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Perkins wrote this piece. It took a lot of

convincing to get her to even consider writing for my section, seeing as how she is a news girl. I always enjoy getting people out of their comfort zones, and pushing their boundaries. It turned out well, and I hope that she continues her life with the confidence that she is a good writer, regardless of the situation.
