Here’s the latest local Facebook event scoop–A demonstration is being orchestrated tomorrow to coincide with reports that Obama will announce his plan for Afghanistan tomorrow, Dec. 1. The purpose of the demonstration is to give students and community members who do not want to see troop escalation a chance to voice their opinions. The information is as follows:
Event: Honk for Peace on Tuesday for the Anticipated Speech on Afghanistan
Date: Tuesday December 1, 2009
Time: 5 -8 p.m.
Location: Corner of State Street and University Parkway
