Got sardines?
“If we can just get through the play once tonight- for doors and sardines. That’s what it’s all about, doors and sardines. Getting on, getting off. Getting the sardines on, getting the sardines off. That’s farce. That’s- that’s the theatre. That’s life,” said Lloyd Fellowes, the main character in the movie version of Michael Frayn’s Noises Off.
Performed by the theatre department and directed by Randy King, this wacky fast-paced door comedy is proclaimed to be the greatest farce of our time. The reigning theme is that of a play within a play where Fellowes is a critical director and he and his motley crew of actors attempt not to bungle their own farce, titled Nothing On.
This production should be fun for all ages and will have audiences laughing with every door slam.
