On Wednesday, Oct. 6, UVU and the Utah Student Association will be hosting a Gubernatorial debate between Gov. Gary Herbert and Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon.
The debate will be held in the Sorensen Student Center Grande Ballroom. It will give students and community members in the Utah Valley area an opportunity to learn more about the two candidates running for governor and their positions on the issues facing students in today’s economy.
KSL-TV News’ Richard Piatt will moderate the debate, which is free to the public. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m., with the debate being held from noon to 1:00 p.m.
