A handgun was found in a restroom on the second floor of the science building on Monday, March 2. The person who found the gun called the UVU police department, and the police came to take possession of it.
The owner of the handgun came to the police department a short while later to report losing it. They were able to provide proof of ownership and the handgun was returned to them.
