Students interested in any of the positions can obtain an application in the UVUSA office, located on the first floor of the Student Center in SC 105. Applications are due Feb. 8 at 12:00 p.m.
“I would strongly encourage any student to run for elections or apply for Student Council for the upcoming year – it will change your life,” said Erin Haskell, Vice President of Academics and Elections Committee Chair. “I have met people I would not otherwise have met, coordinated immensely successful events, learned about the issues facing our students and have developed greatly on a personal level as well.”
Elections Week is not until the first week of March, but students already have expectations for the next crop of 2013-14 elected officials…
