With the new semester comes a new slate of devotionals and activities from the LDS Student Association and the Orem Institute of Religion.
The new devotional schedule includes Elder Robert D. Hales, members of the Seventy, and the Latter-Day Celebration Choir. Bronco Mendenhall, coach of the BYU football team, was the first speaker on Jan. 7.

The devotionals will be on Fridays at noon. They run for an hour and include a munch-and-mingle afterward. Elder Allan Packer of the Seventy will be the next speaker on Jan. 14.

The first activity of the new semester will be an Institute skate night at the Peaks Arena. It will be Friday, Jan. 14 from 9-11 p.m. The tickets will be free and available from institute instructors.
