This year, parent night will be held on Aug. 24, the day before classes begin. The event is designed to give parents of potential, future or current students the opportunity to have a meet-and-greet with President Holland and the vice presidents of the administration.
In order to avoid feelings of detachment from the leaders, parents are encouraged to ask questions and get to know the people who run this institution. They can also come to better understand their role in helping their own children achieve success during the university experience.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 at the alumni house.
