The Peace and Justice Studies Program is excited to announce that on Saturday, Sept. 12, a new movement will make a stop at UVU to meet at 7 p.m. in SC 206c.

Starting Sept. 8, a caravan of Oregon doctors will begin a trek toward the US capitol. Along the way, they are stopping off wherever there are people who will listen to their message.

These doctors are “mad as hell” at a corrupted system of health care that cares exclusively for its profits, not its patients. Their message will be recorded and broadcast worldwide and will also be available via Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and YouTube.

The goal of these doctors’ journey is to rally the voices, needs and desires of the citizens around them and create a veritable tsunami of nationwide activism in demand for a single-payer solution.

All are cordially invited to come and hear their words, ask questions and share stories; these physicians want everyone there with their collective passion and support.

If you or someone you know would like to share a healthcare story, please contact Crystal Busenbark at [email protected]
