The Netherlands upset the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic. This is one of the biggest upsets in international sports history. The Dominican Republic had 23 major league baseball players on their team while the Netherlands had only had two. The Netherlands beat the Dominican Republic twice to eliminate them from the World Baseball Classic.
