Every first Friday of the month, art lovers swarm Historic Downtown Provo for the Gallery Stroll.
The event goes from 6 to 9 p.m. and is free to the public. This month, the stroll will include eleven venues, the newest being The Provo Community Church, United Church of Christ, which is located just next to the Sego Art Center.
Like the majority of the exhibits, the Church will show work by local artists.
The Gallery stroll is the most popular and deserving of any art-related event in Utah County, and can compete with the best exhibits in Salt Lake. The venues are all within six blocks of University Avenue and Center, which makes it entirely feasible to visit every exhibit.
As always, there will be free food, which makes it worth your while even if you’re not that into art.
