Weekend Retreat At the Hindi Temple
The Hindu Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple will be holding their second annual Om Shanti Retreat from Friday, April 24 to Sunday, April 26 in Spanish Fork. The retreat will be at the new Kusum Sarovar (Temple on a Lake of Flowers). From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday there will be a vegetarian buffet meal followed by yoga and an evening Kirtan chanting performance by Keshavacharya Das.

The retreat will be at the new Kusum Sarovar (Temple on a Lake of Flowers). From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday there will be a vegetarian buffet meal followed by yoga and an evening Kirtan chanting performance by Keshavacharya Das.
On Saturday, there will be morning meditation before a three-mile hike along the Bonneville Trail. After lunch at noon, visitors can attend a Vedic wedding before dinner and a second concert with Kirtan chanting from Jai Krishna Das and Friends.
On Sunday, there will be a class on vegetarian cooking as well as more yoga.
The yoga classes will be open to beginners. Participants will be able to work on yoga for a total of ninety hours over the course of the retreat. In addition, Indian apparel, crafts and books will be available in the gift store on the temple grounds.
The retreat costs $125, which covers the meals, the two-night stay, the two concerts, the yoga classes and the hike. There is a discounted ticket price of $100 for college students and married couples.
